Glasgow Road drivers

A recent contact to stewartononline writes:

I and a few others walk up the Glasgow Road after work/ college past the speed bumps where the path stops up to the top of the hill on our way home. I would like to thank the many idiotic drivers who have over the past week clipped me with their wing mirrors. We have even walked in the middle of a lane to make sure they can see us but it made little difference. Before winter has even started I can see someone being killed due to the attitude of car drivers to foot passengers!

Foul Dog Owners

OK, so we have these signs around our schools.

So why do we still have people walking their dogs around the grounds and playing fields every day?

Does this sign not apply to them for some reason? Are you one of these people? Why do you think it's OK to ignore these signs?

Have you been affected by dog fouling whilst at school?

Why aren't the dog patrols having any effect here?
